|Delegation from Tibet Agriculture and Animal Husbandry Institute visited PSC|
October 26, Prof. Mong, the president of Tibet Agriculture and Animal Husbandry Institute and Prof. Tsering Yangchin, vice president of Tibet Agriculture and Animal Husbandry Institute visited PSC. Prof. Jin Cui, vice president of Nanjing Agriculture University, was in the company. Prof. Jian-Kang Zhu, the director of PSC, Prof. Pengcheng Wang, the vice director and Prof. Heng Zhang, the assistant director and administrative staff attended the discussion.
Prof. Zhu first expressed sincere welcome to distinguished guests coming all the way from Tibet. “The development in Tibet has always been emphasized by Chinese leaderships in all ages. As a state-maintained research institute, PSC has the responsibility to contribute to Tibet on the talent cultivation and characterized agriculture.” said Prof. Zhu.
Prof. Mong appreciated Prof. Zhu and Prof. Cui’s hospitable reception and presented white hada to everyone. Then she introduced the background of Tibet Agriculture and Animal Husbandry Institute and wished could initiate the joint training of undergraduate students and collaborations on characteristic germplasm resources development.
At last, two parties signed a cooperative agreement. This December, the first batch of postgraduate students will come to PSC to take a two months study.
